I called Sprint Nextel to get the unlimited mobile-to-mobile service added to my plan (so I can get unlimited talk to any Sprint or Nextel customer for $5 a month). I was put through to Teresa in the Portland, Oregon call center, and was I surprised.
Every call to Sprint Nextel (starting back in 2002, when the companies were separated) ended up in an argument, followed by taking information about the call for future references.
Today was different. She was personable, and someone who seems generally happy to assist the customer. The call took under four minutes, and I was happy.
Maybe the rest of Sprint Nextel (primarily the Sprint employees who stayed with the company after the merger), should take a look at what Teresa did today and use her as the example.
