From looking at the pictures of the Zune, which is due out this holiday season, I am loving the screen on this baby. I think it beats out the design of the Ipod hands down.
But what about the security? Its an idea that I had thought of prior to reading a blog article about the Zune and Linux. But looking at it from the perspective of Microsoft, it seems like this is going to be more of a PDA than anything, which means running Linux on it should be much more of an easier process than writing a highly-customized Linux Kernel such as the one in the Ipod Linux.
Currently, I am the owner of a Motorola M500, which at the end of the day gets the job done. I can listen to my music on the go, but what about those videos? And with the advent of Flash 9 beta for Linux, we’d definitely be in business with downloadable movies on the go in Flash format, along with the general support for other formats.
But don’t get me wrong when I say that Linux on the Zune would be a must-have in my tiny world of very few must-haves.
Let’s see it happen.
Still holding up.
I don’t feel hungry at all, but the cravings for the foods that I want to eat are growing.
More to come
Today, I saw probably over 200 people eating the foods that I wanted to eat.
Do you know how tempting that is?
I ate some carrots for the first time in a while today and now that I think about it, they were pretty good.
In other news, I am working on some new web-based software that looks great! I’m looking forward to bringing on fresh faces to contribute to this open source project.
Well, that’s all for now. Its time to hit the sack.
I haven’t posted in a while and I think it is time to get back to it.
I’ve been working on some private projects that have taken up a lot of my time lately. And eating a lot of food as well.
I’ve decided that it has gone on long enough and I am sick of my clothes getting tighter and tighter. I’m losing the weight and keeping it off.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not your typical dieter. I’m a former hockey player and have the body to be one. Now, it is my plan to slim down and look and feel good. I have a rough plan, and so far, its worked (granted all day yesterday was the first day that I did it).
I am still wondering whether or not I am going to post my daily journal on here or not. We’ll see how things go.
I did this over four years ago while I was camping. One morning I woke up and decided that I needed a change in my life and that change was to feel better waking up in the morning among keeping my energy high all day long.
I made it to my goal of being under 200 pounds. That isn’t necessarily my goal this time, but I just want to feel good, and hopefully feeling better will make me at least somewhat more organized.
